Public Relations Officer (PRO)

OceanAir, a leading name in the UAE’s travel and tourism industry, is looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government, legal, and compliance matters for the company and its employees. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with UAE labor and immigration laws, handle visa and licensing procedures, and represent the company professionally before government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process all employment visas, residence permits, Emirates IDs, and renewals for employees.

  • Handle labour card, MOL, and immigration transactions promptly and accurately.

  • Liaise with government departments such as MOHRE, GDRFA, DED, DM, RTA, and DHA.

  • Oversee trade license renewals, tenancy contracts, vehicle registrations, and other permits.

  • Maintain updated and organized employee and company legal documentation.

  • Support HR in onboarding new employees and coordinating visa and medical processes.

  • Advise management and staff on UAE labor laws and compliance regulations.

  • Prepare and submit government documentation, renewal forms, and official letters.

  • Represent OceanAir in front of government and semi-government authorities with professionalism.

  • Monitor upcoming license expirations and renewal deadlines to ensure timely compliance.

  • Build strong relationships with government officials, PRO networks, and external agencies.

  • Stay updated on any changes in UAE labor and immigration policies and communicate updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a PRO, ideally within the hospitality or tourism sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labour, immigration, and residency laws.

  • Familiarity with MOHRE, Tasheel, GDRFA, ICA, and related e-service portals.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Valid UAE driving license required.

  • Professional, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential information.
