Public Relations Officer – Emiratization

Role Overview:

As a Public Relations Officer (Emiratization), you’ll serve as a key liaison between Transguard Group and UAE government authorities, ensuring compliance with local laws and managing official documentation such as visas, permits, and licenses. This role is integral to our Emiratization strategy and based in Abu Dhabi.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Financial

  • Forecast and manage government-related financial obligations (fees, taxes, permits)

  • Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities

  • Ensure timely processing of payments to avoid penalties

🔹 Government & Customer Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government offices, consulates, embassies, and police departments

  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders for all government interaction matters

🔹 Administrative Processes

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of:

    • Visa applications

    • Residency and employment permits

    • Trade licenses and labor contracts

  • Assist with dispute resolution during renewals or new applications

  • Handle police case registrations and follow-ups

🔹 Innovation & Compliance

  • Identify online process improvements to reduce time and costs

  • Stay updated with regulatory changes (e.g., Emiratization and GPSSA compliance)


Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a UAE Family Book (Emirati national)

  • Willing to be based in Abu Dhabi

  • Valid UAE Driving License

  • High School qualification or equivalent

  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)

  • Familiar with MS Office and GPSSA requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
