The Community Development Authority is seeking a qualified Psychologist – Addict’s Care & Rehabilitation to join its dedicated team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is focused on providing psychological evaluation, therapy, and rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from addiction. The position plays a vital role in reintegrating individuals into society and preventing relapse through evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and clinical evaluations for new cases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, and other modalities.
• Provide psychological support and counseling to families of recovering individuals.
• Design and update therapeutic programs based on best practices and patient needs.
• Document psychological evaluations and maintain electronic records.
• Create relapse prevention strategies tailored to each case.
• Participate in crisis intervention and emergency psychological support.
• Supervise therapeutic team meetings and coordinate with external partners.
• Prepare and submit psychological reports to relevant authorities.
• Conduct educational workshops on mental health and addiction recovery.
• Train therapeutic staff in psychological first aid and support techniques.
• Collaborate with institutions such as Dubai Police, Erada Center, and hospitals.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and information security policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (required)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Addiction Therapy (required)
• Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in addiction rehabilitation
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• UAE nationals only
