Project Manager (Villa Development)

AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Villa Development) to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale villa development projects, acting as the key point of contact between senior management, internal teams, and external stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in project management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Scheduling:

    • Implement and oversee high-level project management frameworks and execution plans.

    • Review and approve master programmes and contract schedules, ensuring timely updates and delay mitigation.

    • Take ownership of project timelines and change management processes.

  • Risk Management:

    • Establish and maintain formal risk management processes using company risk registers.

  • Construction Phase Management:

    • Manage relationships among project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

    • Oversee design and site delivery teams, ensuring timely decisions and issue resolution.

    • Foster collaborative team environments with contractors and stakeholders.

  • Commercial Management:

    • Support cost management and budget control activities, coordinating with third-party cost consultants when applicable.

    • Monitor and report commercial performance in compliance with corporate governance.

  • Client Management:

    • Build and maintain positive client relationships, leading dispute resolution and regular engagement activities.

    • Represent AtkinsRéalis professionally in all client communications and project presentations.

  • Reporting:

    • Review detailed project reports and maintain formal reporting protocols for both client and company.

    • Keep project documentation and team resumes updated for company use.

  • Business Development:

    • Identify and communicate new business opportunities to senior management.

    • Actively promote AtkinsRéalis within the industry to enhance company presence.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably mega projects.

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Membership or chartership with a recognized construction professional body is highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
