Project Manager & Executive Assistant to Director of Education

Fortes Investment is seeking a Project Manager & Executive Assistant (EA) to provide strategic support to the Director of Education. This hybrid role involves project management, administrative support, stakeholder coordination, and operational task execution. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Director of Education’s calendar, meetings, and school visits.

  • Track and manage key projects, deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Provide high-level administrative support, including handling emails, taking meeting notes, and preparing reports.

  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee event planning, travel arrangements, and scheduling.

  • Streamline and improve office systems, workflows, and data management.

  • Act as a liaison between departments and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Ensure confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Business, or related fields.

  • Project or Change Management experience (essential).

  • Executive Assistant experience and K-12 education sector experience (desirable).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Project, and Visio.

  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint and Thinkific/e-learning platforms.

  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with high-level executives.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • A positive attitude and great sense of humor!
