dnata, one of the largest global air and travel services providers, is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver projects that enhance the operational efficiency and growth of dnata Cargo. The role involves managing cargo-focused projects, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key responsibilities include identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring smooth project execution. The role also involves providing regular project updates to senior management and leading the transition of completed projects to operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cargo-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and align with dnata Cargo’s goals.

Collaborate with internal teams, department heads, and third-party vendors to define project objectives, roles, and service levels.

Review project performance regularly and implement corrective actions as needed.

Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure that key milestones are met.

Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, especially focusing on cargo logistics operations.

Provide accurate and timely project updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Develop and execute training plans to ensure smooth transitions of projects to operational teams.

Address and resolve any conflicts or issues during the project to ensure service continuity.

Ensure all business requirements are documented and met with practical solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
8+ years of experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) or strategic planning.

Degree or Honours (12+3) in a related field.

Professional qualifications in Project Management (PRINCE2, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) are highly desirable.

Experience managing large cross-functional projects.

Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Projects or Primavera.
Preferred Experience:
-
Experience in large-scale projects within aviation, supply chain, or transportation.

Exposure to ORAT (Operational Readiness and Transition) projects is highly desirable.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Familiarity with project management tools, business analysis, and change implementation planning.
