Job Description:
Our multinational Design & Engineering Consultancy client is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Design) to lead and oversee international projects across the UAE and KSA. This exciting opportunity focuses on high-rise, residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering large-scale projects, with a background in both design and project management within recognized consultancy or project management companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client needs, managing expectations, and fostering strong professional relationships.

• Project Delivery: Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from concept through design and execution, ensuring high-quality service delivery, on-time completion, and adherence to budgets.

• Leadership & Coordination: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless coordination between architects, engineers, contractors, and subconsultants to deliver successful outcomes.

• Contract & Budget Management: Monitor contracts, enforce terms, and manage invoicing and payment processes while ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets.

• Quality Management: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency across all project stages.

• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local building regulations, international codes, and life safety requirements, addressing any challenges related to local authority approvals.

• Subconsultant Management: Set clear expectations, standards, and performance targets for subconsultants to ensure alignment with the overall project goals and timelines.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Set project targets, track progress, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders, managing risks and challenges to keep the project on track.

Requirements:

• A degree in Architecture with 10-15 years of experience, including at least 5 years working in the UAE/KSA region.

• Proven expertise in managing diverse projects such as residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and large-scale developments.

• In-depth knowledge of local building regulations, international codes, and life safety requirements within the UAE and KSA.

• Experience with full project lifecycle delivery in recognized PMC or Design Consultancy firms.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
