The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery and monitoring of priority projects within the Executive Affairs division. The role involves ensuring projects are executed according to approved plans, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Manager will liaise with various internal departments and external stakeholders to guarantee successful project completion aligned with DCT’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead implementation and execution of priority projects as per approved plans.

Monitor timelines, budgets, quality, and stakeholder communications.

Supervise project teams, address risks, and resolve bottlenecks.

Review project performance and escalate issues with solutions.
-
Manage project closure, ensuring deliverables meet governance standards.
-
Develop and implement quality control and assurance programs.
-
Analyze progress reports for actionable insights to improve delivery.
-
Oversee resource allocation and budget adherence.
-
Collaborate with external consultants, government entities, and experts.
-
Maintain project documentation and ensure contract compliance.
-
Support continuous improvement of project management tools and frameworks.

Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health policies and report incidents.

Perform other duties as requested by the direct manager.
Communication and Business Relationships:

Internal: Coordinate with relevant DCT sectors and departments.

External: Liaise with government agencies, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Planning, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).

PMP Certification preferred.
Experience:
-
5 to 10 years in a Project Management role or equivalent.
Skills:

Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.

Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment independently.
