Emirates Electrical Engineering, part of the Al Rostamani Group, offers specialized services in the development, financing, construction, and operation of solar rooftop systems for commercial and industrial buildings. We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage the technical aspects of solar projects, ensuring their completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role requires close coordination with engineering, construction, and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Planning: Develop and track project plans, including schedules and resource budgets for the entire project duration.

Cost & Time: Ensure project completion within the allotted time and budget.

Project Invoicing: Manage invoicing in line with the project plan with clients.

Design Coordination: Conduct site assessments and oversee design and engineering of solar energy systems.

NOC & Permits: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from authorities.

Procurement: Liaise with the supply chain department for procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and appointment of subcontractors.

Construction: Supervise installation works of solar energy systems, ensuring quality control on in-house and subcontracted works.

Inspection & Testing: Conduct site inspections and performance testing/commissioning of solar energy systems to meet authority requirements.

Quality Control: Implement QA/AC procedures to ensure systems are installed and commissioned to design standards.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Project Documentation: Maintain documentation and regular progress reports for stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Renewable Engineering.
Experience:

Minimum 3 to 4 years of project/site management experience in solar projects for commercial warehouses, factories, or industrial buildings.
Knowledge & Skills:

Project Management: scheduling, budgeting, controlling, risk management, and resource allocation.

Strong technical knowledge of solar systems, including panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.

Understanding of local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
