About the Role

Egis is seeking an experienced Project Engineer specializing in Bridge Maintenance and Construction to join its infrastructure team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The successful candidate will oversee bridge construction and rehabilitation projects, ensuring safe execution, compliance with engineering standards, and timely delivery. This role requires strong technical knowledge of bridge structures, site management expertise, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage bridge construction and maintenance activities according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure efficient project execution.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements for bridge works.

• Monitor project schedules and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with local infrastructure regulations from authorities such as Dubai Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Municipality.

• Supervise site engineers and technical staff, providing technical guidance and support.

• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across project sites.

• Coordinate inspections, structural testing, and approvals with consultants and regulatory authorities.

• Support resource planning, procurement of materials, and cost monitoring for bridge projects.

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction or rehabilitation works.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance projects in the UAE.

• Strong understanding of bridge structures, construction methods, and maintenance techniques.

• Familiarity with UAE infrastructure standards and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience managing site operations and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
