ACCEL Human Resource Consultants is hiring a Project Engineer for one of its clients in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, and supporting the project manager in planning and execution. The Project Engineer will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, adhering to schedules, and resolving challenges on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities and enforce compliance with safety regulations.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.

• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to specifications and standards.

• Assist in preparing project schedules and budgets.

• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts efficiently.

• Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes and standards.

• Participate in stakeholder meetings to provide updates and discuss challenges.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all site activities and project changes.

• Support the project manager in planning and executing construction projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (preferred).

• Proven experience in construction or project engineering.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and resolve on-site challenges effectively.

• Strong communication and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in project management and MS Office tools.
