Peoplefocus HR is hiring a Project Engineer for a client based in Dubai, operating in the interior design and home renovation sector. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing build and fit-out projects from planning to handover, ensuring timely completion, quality execution, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior fit-out project execution and be based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and delivering fit-out and build projects.

• Review project drawings and documents to ensure design accuracy and regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to maintain workflow and timelines.

• Monitor site progress, manage labor activities, and ensure alignment with project milestones.

• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports.

• Provide support in procurement tasks such as preparing material submittals and tracking deliveries.

• Conduct site meetings and resolve technical/site-related issues efficiently.

• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Manage variations, RFIs, shop drawings, and design approvals in collaboration with internal teams.

• Oversee inspection, testing, and commissioning to guarantee quality and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of UAE-based experience in build and interior fit-out project execution.

• Valid UAE driving license.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).

• Deep knowledge of interior works, materials, finishes, and construction practices.

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with UAE building codes and safety regulations.

• Must currently reside in Dubai.
