FPA Consulting is hiring a detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee the successful delivery of interior fit-out projects across the commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in coordinating technical aspects of fit-out execution, ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, executing, and delivering interior fit-out projects from initiation to handover

• Review and coordinate shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals in line with project specifications

• Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and address technical issues and construction discrepancies

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for seamless execution and delivery

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a proactive safety culture

• Participate in client and consultant meetings; provide updates and resolve on-site technical challenges

• Support procurement activities by validating material quantities against drawings and BOQs

• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, snag lists, and as-built drawings

• Collaborate with the project manager and site supervisors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met

• Identify potential design or construction risks and propose mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

• 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction within the commercial, retail, or hospitality sectors

• Strong understanding of construction methods, fit-out materials, MEP coordination, and finishing details

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across project stakeholders
