Johnson Controls is hiring a Project Development Engineer to join their team in Dubai. The role focuses on presales activities, working closely with the Sales team to provide technical and commercial proposals. You will be responsible for supporting the team with pre-sales/estimation processes for optimized solutions in Building Technology and Solutions. This role also involves validating assumptions, performing risk analysis, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective project transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sales team to create technical and commercial proposals for building technology solutions.

• Validate assumptions made during solution design, estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations.

• Perform technical risk analysis for complete solutions and ensure projects align with objectives, timelines, and customer requirements.

• Participate in transition meetings with Operations to ensure accurate project execution.

• Conduct on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design reviews.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, vendors).

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Over 5 years of experience in Physical Security Systems (e.g., IP surveillance, access control).

  • Strong customer-focused approach with a result-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in business analysis and good analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to various stakeholders and team members.

  • Fluency in English.
