Project Coordinator – Event Management

Role Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established Dubai-based organisation specialising in live and virtual events, strategic communications, digital solutions, and community engagement, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Event Management to join their dynamic operations team.

The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering events end-to-end, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned events and projects from concept to delivery, including planning, coordination, execution, and post-event evaluation

  • Maintain full visibility of all project activities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables

  • Communicate project status, timelines, and operational updates through reports, emails, and meetings

  • Independently manage project responsibilities with minimal supervision

  • Define project timelines, milestones, and critical dates

  • Coordinate specific project components such as venues, hotels, transportation, F&B, hospitality, and entertainment

  • Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and service standards

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Project Assistants and interns, setting clear expectations and controls

  • Source and manage third-party suppliers and vendors, ensuring quality and cost efficiency

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders

  • Provide regular feedback and performance input for junior team members

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports

  • Monitor and utilise project tools and systems efficiently, including MS Office and collaboration platforms

  • Take a client-centric approach, anticipating needs and recommending service improvements

  • Identify operational risks and support continuous improvement initiatives


Candidate Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ experience in project coordination or event management within the Hospitality, Travel, or MICE sectors

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Events Management, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of client expectations and market dynamics

  • Proven ability to deliver events effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Confident, resilient, and solution-driven mindset

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Willingness to travel and support a global project team


Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: AED 5,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
