Cherokee Federal is seeking a Program Manager to support the US Mission to the UAE. The role involves managing facilities maintenance, residential leasing, procurement, shipping, travel services, and more. Ideal for candidates with a background in government services, logistics, and support.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage residential leasing and facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with USG location, safety, health, security, and space regulations.

Handle shipping and customs tasks including arranging for packing, crating, forwarding, and receiving official and private items.

Assist with travel services such as flight reservations and visa processing for official personnel.

Oversee procurement of office and IT equipment, furniture, and maintenance services.

Maintain property accountability by tracking office and residential furnishings and equipment.

Assist with vehicle procurement, leasing, and maintenance tracking for official vehicles.

Manage mailroom services, ensuring the receipt, sorting, and distribution of mail.

Provide financial services including preparing cost estimates, summary reports, vouchering, and invoicing.

Provide customer support services and IT support for clients via an internet-based application.
Candidate Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, logistics, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar management role, particularly in the UAE.

ICASS experience is a plus, as is experience as a Foreign Service Officer.

Proficiency in Arabic is a plus, but not required.

Certification as a Project Management Professional is a plus.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
