Securitas USA Northeast Region is currently seeking part-time Professional Security Officers to join their team in Ballwin, MO. As a Professional Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people, property, and information. Your daily tasks will include monitoring visitors, operating surveillance cameras, assisting healthcare staff and first responders, and completing a Security Academy of Healthcare training upon hire. You will be responsible for ensuring security protocols are followed and maintaining a vigilant presence at the assigned location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring visitors and ensuring they follow security protocols.

• Operating surveillance equipment and responding to incidents as needed.

• Assisting healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies.

• Completing required training, including the Security Academy of Healthcare.

• Conducting patrols and maintaining a high level of vigilance throughout the shift.

Skills Required:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle stressful situations.

• Prior experience in security (2 years preferred).

• Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.

• Computer/technology skills.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout the shift.

• Previous experience in healthcare or high-risk environments is an asset.
