Universal Rubber Belts is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining product quality, safety standards, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to manage a production team and drive process improvements in a rubber belt manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations Management:

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal productivity.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for performance analysis.

Quality Control & Process Improvement:

• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and collaborate with the QC team to resolve any issues.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve product consistency.
• Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to improve performance and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure proper staffing levels.
• Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and operational effectiveness.

Safety, Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe machine operation.
• Conduct safety briefings and collaborate with the HSE team to maintain a secure working environment.
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Inventory & Material Management:

• Monitor raw material availability to prevent production delays.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (preferably rubber belt manufacturing or a related industry).
• Experience in operating and maintaining rubber processing machinery is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems for production reporting.

Salary & Benefits:

• AED 5,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
