Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description:
Join H.B. Fuller, the world’s largest pureplay adhesives company, as a Production Operator and contribute to manufacturing world-class adhesive and sealant solutions. As part of our production team, you will support the preparation, mixing, quality control, and packaging of adhesive products while maintaining safety and compliance standards in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare raw materials and packaging, verifying labels, weights, and lot/batch numbers before loading into mixers or reactors.

• Operate production equipment in compliance with process instructions and quality procedures.

• Perform quality control checks, adjust processes as needed, and report findings to the Production Supervisor.

• Ensure traceability and accurate documentation of process results for regulatory compliance.

• Package final products as per instructions and maintain high-quality standards.

• Inspect visual appearance of products to meet company specifications and resolve any labeling issues.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of machinery and the production area.

• Uphold EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and contribute to a culture of safety.

• Participate in training documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support other duties as required by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Operator III or 7+ years in an industrial setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.

• Ability to understand work orders, follow safety and quality procedures, and operate in a team environment.

• Willingness to work in shifts and under standard industrial conditions (e.g., exposure to temperature changes, noise, and chemical smells).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in chemical mixing and packaging processes.

• Basic understanding of English for communication and compliance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, climb, lift (up to 100 lbs with assistance), bend, reach, and operate equipment for extended periods.
