Role Purpose

The Product Specialist will support the Investment Advisory and Portfolio Management function by sourcing, analyzing, structuring, and monitoring investment products across multiple asset classes.

This role acts as a technical bridge between Relationship Managers, private banks, product providers, and clients to deliver optimal investment solutions aligned with client objectives, risk profiles, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Product Management

• Source and evaluate investment products across asset classes

• Conduct detailed product due diligence and performance analysis

• Support structuring of customized investment solutions

• Monitor product performance and provide ongoing portfolio insights

Advisory & Stakeholder Support

• Provide technical support to Relationship Managers

• Liaise with private banks, asset managers, and product providers

• Assist in preparing client presentations and investment proposals

• Ensure alignment with client risk appetite and regulatory standards

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements

• Monitor market trends and assess product suitability

• Support portfolio reviews and risk reporting

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

• CFA / CAIA / FRM (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

• 4–10 years of experience in:

  • Private Banking

  • Asset Management

  • Investment Advisory

  • External Asset Manager (EAM) environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Fixed income instruments

  • Structured products

  • Portfolio construction principles

  • Market research and financial analysis
