The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and lifecycle management of innovative health insurance solutions. In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, balancing business goals with technical capabilities to deliver products that meet regulatory requirements and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to continuous improvement

Ensure alignment of product features with strategic business goals and regulatory standards

Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, collaborating on development and delivery

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog using agile practices

Balance stakeholder needs and technical resources to prioritize feature development

Own system knowledge and BAU (Business-As-Usual) performance, while driving future enhancements

Define and track KPIs and product success metrics
-
Engage with internal teams such as marketing, operations, compliance, and IT
-
Implement continuous improvements in both systems and customer experience

Monitor market trends and emerging technologies in health insurance
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Health Insurance, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the health insurance or healthcare sector
-
Deep understanding of insurance systems, claims processes, and industry regulations
-
Proficiency in agile frameworks (especially SAFe), sprint planning, and backlog grooming
-
Familiarity with tools like JIRA or similar platforms
-
Strong skills in analytics, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping is a plus
-
Experience with claims systems and regulatory compliance is preferred
