Careem is seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead a team managing the Captain & Marketplace platform. The role focuses on operational health, efficiency, and continuous improvement of systems connecting customers with captains. This position combines team leadership, data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketplace excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and grow the product operations team, fostering a culture of ownership and operational excellence.

Oversee marketplace health and quality, tracking KPIs for matching efficiency, pricing integrity, ETA precision, and captain experience.

Design and implement robust planning and governance processes for product operations.

Analyze marketplace data to identify improvements and influence the product roadmap.

Drive process improvement initiatives, including experimentation frameworks and incident resolution protocols.

Serve as the operational liaison between Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams.

Communicate operational progress and insights to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements:
-
6+ years in product operations, program management, or similar roles; experience in ride-hailing or logistics is a plus.

2+ years of direct people management experience with a proven track record in team development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly data-driven.

Proficient in SQL and familiar with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Agile/project management tools (Jira, Trello).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
