About the Role:

Veolia UAE is hiring a proactive Procurement Officer to support its Capex Delivery team at Magma, a hazardous waste treatment facility in Al Ruwais. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services to support large-scale capital expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts and terms

• Place, track, and manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery

• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships

• Monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs

• Ensure goods and services meet quality, cost, and delivery standards

• Maintain procurement documentation and internal reporting

• Coordinate with internal teams to align purchasing with project requirements

• Analyze market trends, pricing, and cost drivers

• Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies

• Follow Veolia’s procurement policies and compliance protocols

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles

• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems

• Knowledge of Capex procurement processes preferred

• UAE driving license (manual gearbox)

• Willingness to travel across project sites and work flexible hours
