Overview:
Ignite Search & Selection is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for a prominent construction firm in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a track record of achieving cost efficiencies while ensuring timely material delivery and supplier compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, reliability, and quality.

• Analyze market trends and pricing forecasts to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Collaborate with project managers to assess material requirements and technical specifications.

• Oversee procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations.

• Maintain and update supplier databases, product information, and pricing records.

• Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Monitor procurement budgets, track spending, and prepare periodic cost reports.

• Ensure materials and services are delivered on time to meet project deadlines.

• Identify and propose improvements in procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years in procurement, with a strong focus on the construction sector.

• Proven experience managing procurement for large-scale construction projects in the UAE.

• Solid understanding of UAE procurement regulations and industry standards.

• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Salary Package:

AED 35,000 – 40,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
