Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Overview:
We are hiring a results-driven Procurement Engineer with strong expertise in MEP systems and EPC project procurement. You will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle—from vendor selection to contract finalization—ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance across all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement procurement strategies for MEP systems in EPC projects.

• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, analyze bids (technical and commercial), and manage vendor negotiations.

• Perform cost analysis, value engineering, and market research for cost-effective sourcing.

• Negotiate high-value contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms.

• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical and delivery alignment.

• Monitor vendor performance and maintain a quality-compliant vendor database.

• Draft and review purchase orders and subcontracts aligned with project specs and company policy.

• Oversee material delivery timelines and address supply chain risks proactively.

• Provide regular procurement updates during project meetings, highlighting risks and mitigation.

• Ensure adherence to local and international procurement regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 7+ years of experience in MEP procurement within EPC project environments.

• Strong track record in negotiating large-value contracts and vendor relations.

• Expertise in MEP systems like HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Electrical.

• Proficient with ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, etc.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• English fluency required; Arabic is a plus.
