The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing procurement and contracting activities for a reputable financial institution. This role involves overseeing procurement operations for materials, goods, and services while ensuring cost-efficiency, transparency, and timely execution. The position requires close collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and various departments to ensure smooth procurement processes and enhance workflow efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:

Policy Development: Assist in developing policies, standards, rules, and procedures to ensure cost-effective procurement operations.

Procurement & Contract Management: Supervise procurement and contract activities following company policies and improve workflows.

Competitive Bidding: Manage the competitive bidding process, including generating RFPs/RFQs, receiving bids, and ensuring proper evaluation.

Contract Monitoring: Track contract progress, payment statuses, and ensure proper reporting of project contracts.

Supplier Sourcing: Develop sourcing strategies with relevant stakeholders to optimize cost and quality.

Vendor Negotiations: Manage negotiations with vendors and suppliers for critical services, contracts, pricing, credit terms, and other agreement conditions.
Requirements:

Experience: At least 4-7 years in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry with exposure to international markets.

Skills: Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, especially in time-critical situations.

Industry Exposure: Knowledge and experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, particularly within the financial sector.
