Job Title: Process Safety Consultant 

Job Description:

Join a Leading Safety Consulting Team – Specialized Role in Process Safety for the Energy and Chemical Industries

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Process Safety Consultant to support safety initiatives across major energy and chemical projects in the Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. This role is ideal for engineering professionals passionate about process safety, risk assessment, and industrial best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site work such as field assessments, data collection, report preparation, and document management for studies including:

  • HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study)

  • SIL (Safety Integrity Level)

  • QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment)

• Apply technical expertise in process engineering, instrumentation, petroleum systems, and automation.

• Assist project managers with documentation, coordination, and the development of professional consulting reports.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and evolving safety standards in the industry.

• Work 48 hours per week with flexibility as required.

Required Qualifications:

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Environmental, Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

• Degree must be from a university listed in QS World University Rankings or US News & World Report.

• Educational certificate attestation is mandatory.

💼 Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process safety or plant operations.

🌐 Language:

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.

🛠️ Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in safety methodologies: HAZOP, SIL, QRA

• Ability to interpret and develop PFDs and P&IDs

• Familiarity with tools like BowtieXP, PHAST

• Knowledge of standards like API 520/521 and awareness of digital twin technologies

• Valid UAE driver’s license is a plus
