GEA Group, a global leader in process technology and engineering, is hiring a Process Engineer for its LPT Middle East division, based in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for a technically skilled and detail-oriented engineer experienced in both pre-sales and execution phases of engineering projects.

The selected candidate will play a key role in generating accurate technical and commercial proposals, managing scope, and supporting the delivery of engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Phase:

• Collaborate with sales and senior engineering teams to understand client needs and design suitable solutions

• Develop process designs including P&IDs, key assumptions, and scope boundaries

• Size and cost equipment, components, and piping systems

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in alignment with project requirements

• Maintain proposal documentation per company standards

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather scope and consolidate costing

• Support client-facing presentations and design-cost justifications

• Report to the Director of Service for LPT Middle East

Execution Phase:

• Assist project managers and senior engineers in project delivery

• Support change control and manage scope variations

• Prepare RFQs, analyze supplier bids, and recommend vendors

• Participate in design reviews, commissioning, cleaning tests, and production support

• Ensure documentation is in line with QHSE standards and project compliance

• Travel extensively within the Middle East (and occasionally worldwide) as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Process or Mechanical preferred)

• Proven experience in pre-sales technical engineering and project execution

• Strong understanding of P&ID development, equipment sizing, and cost estimation

• Proficient in managing technical documentation, supplier communication, and client presentations

• Ability to handle multiple proposals and tight deadlines efficiently

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

• Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East
