The Principal Ports and Marine Engineer at Surbana Jurong will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of marine infrastructure designs, such as ports, harbors, quay walls, and jetties. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the growth of the Ports & Marine discipline in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical delivery of marine infrastructure design projects

• Provide specialist input on structural and geotechnical aspects of design

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in geotechnical, coastal, and environmental domains

• Review and validate design documentation, drawings, and reports

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality

• Support business development through client engagement and technical proposals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of ports and marine infrastructure

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Coastal, or Structural Engineering

• Proficiency in design software such as PLAXIS, STAAD, Wallap, and AutoCAD

• Familiarity with international marine and coastal engineering codes (e.g., BS, Eurocode, PIANC)
