Role Purpose:
As a Principal Consultant, you will leverage deep consulting expertise to deliver transformative business value to clients. You will manage consulting teams, maintain high-quality operations, contribute to business growth, and support the sales cycle through strong client relationships. This role demands excellent delivery leadership, thought leadership, and a commitment to driving client success.
Key Responsibilities:
Consulting Execution:

Act as a Wipro ambassador, demonstrating strong values and client commitment.

Manage consulting workstreams or projects, ensuring quality and budget adherence.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering strong outcomes and securing positive feedback.

Mentor, coach, and motivate team and client staff.
-
Ensure project administration, including Statements of Work (SoW) and compliance tagging, is updated.
Business Development:

Maintain high personal utilization levels.

Identify and convert leads into business opportunities.
-
Build strong relationships at buying levels within client organizations.
-
Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and lead proposal development.
-
Participate actively in sales and marketing initiatives to expand Wipro’s presence.
Thought Leadership:

Develop and share insights on industry and technology trends.
-
Author case studies, whitepapers, frameworks, and reusable assets.

Deliver thought leadership sessions and contribute to the broader consulting practice.
Practice Development:

Contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

Propose and help develop new service offerings and go-to-market solutions.

Support talent development, mentorship, and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Measures:

Revenue and utilization achievement against quarterly/annual targets.
-
Number and quality of strategic engagements delivered.
-
Client satisfaction scores (CSAT, PCSAT).

Number of RFP/RFI responses led or supported.
-
Volume of downstream opportunities generated.
-
Contribution to thought leadership (content, citations, IP assets, client sessions).
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Extensive consulting experience with strong client management skills.

Proven ability to deliver transformation engagements and strategic advisory projects.

Strong business development and sales support experience.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Thought leadership presence within industry forums and client communities.
