Stantec, a globally recognized leader in engineering and design services, is currently seeking a highly experienced Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join its team in Dubai. Job Responsibilities:

• Lead building services (electrical) projects from concept through to delivery.

• Manage project teams, oversee subcontractor performance, and resolve technical or execution-related issues.

• Provide technical advice and support the professional development of team members.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of both local and international building services codes and standards.

• Coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Promote technical innovation and excellence within project teams.

• Act as a Project Leader on selected high-profile projects.

• Represent the company in client meetings and presentations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Contribute to bids, tenders, and proposal submissions.

• Maintain accurate workload forecasting and manage projects to budget and time allocations.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum of 15 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in the Middle East.

• Strong background in design consultancy is preferred.

• Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE or IET) is highly desirable.

• Deep understanding of the commercial aspects of project delivery.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing abilities.
