ALIYAH BUNKERING COMPANY FZE is hiring a seasoned Port Captain to oversee tanker vessel operations across major UAE terminals including Fujairah, Jebel Ali, Ruwais, and Hamriyah. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a maritime professional with extensive sea-time and shore-based operational experience in oil and chemical tanker logistics. The Port Captain will ensure safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant execution of bunkering, cargo handling, and port coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise vessel loading, discharge, and bunkering at UAE ports and anchorages
• Plan and execute operations in line with MARPOL Annexe VI and local authority guidelines
• Liaise with port authorities, agents, terminal operators, and surveyors
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC, ADNPA, and UAE port safety regulations
• Conduct onboard inspections and advise Masters and Chief Officers
• Review cargo stowage plans, ullage reports, and vessel stability data
• Manage cargo documentation including Bills of Lading and Manifests
• Investigate cargo discrepancies and contamination issues
• Participate in SIRE vetting inspections and safety audits
• Support emergency response drills and pollution prevention measures

Qualifications:

• Master Mariner (Unlimited) preferred; Chief Officer (Unlimited) with strong tanker background considered
• 10–15 years’ experience on product/crude/chemical tankers, with 3–5 years in a shore-based role
• Deep knowledge of ADNOC procedures, UAE port regulations, OCIMF/ISGOTT standards
• Familiarity with bunker fuel specs (VLSFO, MGO, HSFO) and sampling protocols
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in marine software, cargo calculators, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Attributes:

• UAE residency or valid work permit
• Experience with UAE port documentation and call procedures
• Familiarity with TMSA, tanker vetting, and SMS documentation
