ARENGY, a leading engineering and recruitment services company based in the UAE, is hiring a PMO / Project Engineer for a 3 to 6-month contract to support a cutting-edge autonomous robotics project in Abu Dhabi. This role involves project planning, risk management, and coordination across multiple engineering and support functions, ensuring the project is delivered on time and aligned with quality and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage detailed project schedules with milestones and resource allocation

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across all phases

Prepare progress reports, governance documents, and stakeholder updates
-
Coordinate cross-functional meetings, track action items, and follow up on deliverables
-
Assist with budgeting, procurement planning, and contract documentation
-
Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulatory guidelines, and client needs
-
Interface with engineering, R&D, procurement, and quality teams to support project execution
-
Support internal reviews and prepare for external audits or client presentations
Education and Experience Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
-
5–10 years of experience in project coordination or engineering support roles
-
Proficient in project planning tools like MS Project or Primavera
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
-
Experience in defense or government projects is a strong advantage
Key Skills and Abilities:

Strong planning, risk management, and documentation skills

Excellent communication and organizational capabilities

Detail-oriented and proactive in solving project-related issues

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting

Knowledge of robotics, embedded systems, or autonomous systems is a plus
