About the Role

On behalf of an esteemed government entity in Dubai, People Connect Global is seeking a highly driven PMO Specialist to join the Economic Acceleration Unit.

This strategic unit operates through intensive 100-day execution sprints, addressing sector-wide challenges and delivering impactful solutions that drive economic growth. The role requires strong execution oversight, analytical capability, and the ability to maintain momentum across multiple high-priority initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Execution & Delivery Oversight

  • Monitor and track multiple workstreams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Manage milestones, dependencies, risks, and roadblocks across projects.

  • Support project teams in maintaining execution discipline and delivery standards.

Proactive Problem Solving

  • Identify potential delays and bottlenecks early, addressing root causes rather than simply escalating issues.

  • Drive corrective actions to maintain pace and ensure sprint objectives are achieved.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

  • Follow up on pending inputs and escalate issues when necessary to maintain progress.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and tracking tools.

  • Monitor data accuracy and proactively resolve inconsistencies.

  • Prepare structured progress reports for senior leadership.

Documentation & Communication

  • Capture detailed meeting notes and convert them into structured reports, summaries, and action trackers.

  • Prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations for leadership updates.


Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, project management, consulting, or execution-focused roles.

  • Experience working on government or large-scale strategic initiatives preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, VLOOKUP, Index-Match, data validation and reconciliation).

  • Strong understanding of project charters, critical path analysis, risk management, and post-implementation review processes.

  • Ability to prepare senior leadership-ready PowerPoint presentations under tight deadlines.

Language

  • Professional fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory).

  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities and rapid turnaround timelines.
