Key Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using specialized project scheduling software.

Collaboration with Teams: Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and stakeholders to gather planning requirements and resources.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect any changes, delays, or issues.

Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare detailed progress reports and forecasts for management review, keeping stakeholders informed.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and delays in the project schedule, and propose mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.

Budget and Timeline Management: Ensure project activities align with allocated budgets and timelines.

Resource Planning: Collaborate with procurement and site teams to ensure effective resource allocation and utilization.

Critical Path & Resource Leveling: Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path identification and resource leveling, to maintain project flow.

Project Coordination: Support project coordination meetings by providing accurate and up-to-date planning information to facilitate decision-making.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry, with hands-on experience in project scheduling.

Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working within cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders.

Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
