Job Title: Physiotherapist
Job Description:
Our client offers comprehensive medical care and rehabilitation services, focusing on both short-term recovery and long-term care for chronic diseases. Their approach to care emphasizes personalized treatment plans for each patient, with a strong emphasis on family involvement during the recovery process. They aim to deliver compassionate care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention they need to regain independence or receive support from loved ones or home health services.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients to determine if physiotherapy interventions are necessary, adhering to professional practice guidelines and standards.

Treatment Planning & Execution: Assess patients’ conditions, and implement treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and alleviating pain or discomfort. Adjust treatments as necessary based on patient progress.

Movement Disorders: Treat patients suffering from movement disorders caused by injury, illness, or congenital conditions.

Patient Progress Monitoring: Regularly measure patient progress, including signs of reduced stiffness, pain, and discomfort, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

Referral and Collaboration: Refer patients to other specialists such as Occupational Therapists, General Practitioners, or therapists offering massages, acupuncture, and hydrotherapy when necessary.

Family Involvement: Engage and involve families or caregivers in treatment programs to improve patient outcomes.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records, updating case notes and progress reports regularly.

Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new physiotherapy technologies and techniques, ensuring the best care for patients.

Regulation Compliance: Ensure compliance with government physiotherapy regulations and standards.
Skills & Competencies:

Communication: Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Empathy: An empathetic personality with the ability to build strong connections with patients and their families.

Time Management: Strong time and task management skills to handle multiple patients and treatments efficiently.

Proactive Approach: Ability to take initiative and address patient needs independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Education & Qualifications:

Degree: Recognized Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in physiotherapy.

Licensing: Valid DOH (Department of Health) license or eligibility.

Nationality Requirement: Only UAE nationals with a passport and family book can be considered due to government Emiratisation rules and regulations.

Specialization: Relevant experience in patient care settings, specifically in Outpatient care.
