Are you a dynamic and experienced academic leader with a passion for guiding students and empowering teachers? EAS Sharjah is seeking a Phase Leader (Grades 6 to 12) to oversee the academic programs and instructional leadership across middle and high school segments.

Role Overview

As the Segment Coordinator/Head for Grades 6–12, you will lead curriculum development, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure academic excellence. You will work collaboratively with faculty, students, and parents to elevate the quality of education and drive holistic student success.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Management

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum for Grades 6–12.

• Ensure alignment with school philosophy and international/national education standards.

• Collaborate with subject coordinators to ensure a cohesive, balanced academic program.

Academic Leadership

• Conduct classroom observations and guide teachers through feedback and mentorship.

• Promote professional growth through regular workshops and training.

• Lead departmental meetings and academic strategy sessions.

Student Support

• Monitor academic progress across all subjects and grade levels.

• Design and implement intervention and enrichment strategies for student development.

• Address academic concerns and offer tailored guidance.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Oversee exams and assessments to ensure alignment with learning goals.

• Use data analytics to monitor academic trends and student outcomes.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to parents and school leadership.

Professional Development

• Organize training for staff focused on modern pedagogy and instructional innovation.

• Foster a collaborative learning culture among faculty.

Parent & Community Engagement

• Maintain regular communication with parents about student performance and events.

• Organize conferences and strengthen school-community ties.

Administrative Leadership

• Manage the academic calendar, schedules, and resource planning.

• Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.

Cultural & Ethical Leadership

• Promote values of respect, inclusion, and academic integrity.

• Champion student well-being and holistic growth initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.); a Master’s in Education or Educational Leadership is a plus

• Prior leadership experience in middle/high school environments

• Proven track record in managing academic programs and teams
