Sanofi is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate (VIE Contract) to join its Pharmacovigilance & Safety team in Dubai. This role is part of Sanofi’s iMove Program, open to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland), aged 18–28. Candidates cannot apply for assignments in their country of citizenship.
The position involves supporting pharmacovigilance (PV) operations within the Greater Gulf region to ensure compliance with global, regional, and local PV regulations. You will help maintain a robust PV system to warrant the safe and appropriate use of Sanofi products.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with in-country teams to carry out and monitor local PV activities in compliance with regulations.

Implement PV processes aligned with global and regional guidelines, and document them in local Quality Documents.

Manage compliance metrics, Root Cause Analyses (RCA), and CAPAs implementation.

Ensure inspection readiness of local PV systems and maintain auditable trails of PV activities.

Complete audits and inspection CAPAs in collaboration with global and local teams.

Oversee local PV activities through periodic reports and updates to regional leadership.

Monitor and analyze national regulations, forwarding updates to the regional PV head.
Skills & Experience Required
-
Prior experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory, quality, medical, or clinical development is required.

Knowledge of pharmacovigilance systems, safety management, and international regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Ability to interpret clinical and safety data.

Languages: Proficiency in English (mandatory); Arabic is a plus.
Education
-
Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, PharmD, Veterinary Doctor, Health Sciences PhD, MPH, or a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
