Job Summary:
Medicina Group of Pharmacies is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves dispensing prescribed medications, offering professional advice on drug therapy, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, deep pharmaceutical knowledge, and a proactive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely.

• Advise customers on drug interactions, side effects, and proper dosage.

• Conduct health screenings, including blood pressure and glucose checks.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

• Manage pharmacy operations such as verifying orders, removing expired drugs, and ensuring compliance with DOH/HAAD regulations.

• Provide excellent customer service through OTC sales, cross-selling, and upselling.

• Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.

• Perform administrative and reporting tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Licensing:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.

• Valid DOH/HAAD license to practice as a pharmacist in the UAE.

Experience & Competencies:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical brands, dosage requirements, and chemical compounds.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software systems.

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills (Arabic & English).

• Flexible with work location and schedule.

• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
