Hermès is hiring a Cashier for their Dubai Mall store. The role involves customer service, cash handling, transaction processing, and maintaining store paperwork and records. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, particularly in luxury retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, answer phones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate party.

  • Handle routine billing questions and issues from customers.

  • Assist in store opening and closing, including cash handling and deposits.

  • Complete and maintain paperwork and records.

  • Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.

  • Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.

  • Sort and count currency and coins, issue receipts and change.

  • Count money at the start and end of each shift.

  • Process credit card and check payments.

  • Perform customer service representative duties when required.

  • Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.

  • Open and close tills.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes, preferably in luxury retail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with at least 10 staff members.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and highly observant.

  • Ability to multitask efficiently.

  • Proven background in providing good customer experience.
