Position Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Mental Health Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to children and adolescents with mental health disorders, ensuring their safety, well-being, and positive therapeutic outcomes.

This role requires clinical expertise in pediatric psychiatry, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and monitor patients for effectiveness and side effects.

• Provide therapeutic support and counseling to patients and their families.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and emergency protocols as required.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.

• Experience in mental health or psychiatric care for pediatric patients.

• Valid UAE nursing license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Cultural sensitivity and experience with diverse patient populations.

• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
