Alsham Medical Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist Specialist to join our dedicated dental team in Sharjah, UAE. This is a part-time, on-site position ideal for a professional passionate about pediatric oral health and creating a positive experience for young patients.

As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues in infants, children, and adolescents. Your role will involve performing preventive and restorative procedures, managing dental emergencies, and educating families on oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pediatric Dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.

• Perform pediatric dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, pulpotomies, and extractions.

• Deliver preventive care including fluoride treatments, cleanings, and sealants.

• Handle dental emergencies, including trauma and infections.

• Educate parents and caregivers on proper oral hygiene and dietary practices.

• Apply behavior management techniques to ensure a child-friendly environment.

• Provide sedation options when necessary for anxious or special-needs children.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as orthodontists and pediatricians.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

• Postgraduate specialization in Pediatric Dentistry.

• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred).

• Valid UAE dental license.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience and ability to work effectively with young patients.
