Securitas is seeking Weekend Security Officers to join our Salt Lake City team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in security, military, or law enforcement. Officers will provide visible security presence, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining Securitas’ core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain security by patrolling premises and monitoring surveillance.

• De-escalate conflict and resolve issues professionally.

• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.

• Document and report suspicious activities and safety hazards.

• Provide clear and accurate written reports as needed.

• Engage respectfully and professionally with employees and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Customer service and/or security experience preferred

• Basic computer literacy

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

• Capable of patrolling for extended periods

• Professional communication and demeanor

• Utah State Driver’s License preferred

• Must pass a background check
