Securitas is hiring immediately for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Officer for the 2nd shift in Waukegan, IL. This is a great opportunity to join a respected global leader in security services, dedicated to protecting people, property, and information.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol premises (indoor and outdoor).

Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation when necessary.
-
Interact professionally with employees, guests, and visitors.

Identify and report hazardous conditions or safety concerns.
-
Quickly and clearly document and report suspicious activity.
-
Write accurate and detailed witness and incident reports.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 18 years of age.
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
At least 2 years of prior security experience.
-
Valid Driver’s License and PERC License (Illinois requirement).
-
Basic computer/technology proficiency.
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant.
-
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
-
CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (not required).
-
Military background is a plus.
