Securitas is hiring immediately for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Officer for the 2nd shift in Waukegan, IL. This is a great opportunity to join a respected global leader in security services, dedicated to protecting people, property, and information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol premises (indoor and outdoor).

• Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation when necessary.

• Interact professionally with employees, guests, and visitors.

• Identify and report hazardous conditions or safety concerns.

• Quickly and clearly document and report suspicious activity.

• Write accurate and detailed witness and incident reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• At least 2 years of prior security experience.

• Valid Driver’s License and PERC License (Illinois requirement).

• Basic computer/technology proficiency.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant.

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

• CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (not required).

• Military background is a plus.
