Role Overview
We are seeking a Paralegal (Water, Energy) to support corporate governance, legal compliance, and regulatory matters for Segula Technologies in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the General Counsel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute notices, agendas, and supporting materials for board and committee meetings.

  • Attend board meetings and record accurate minutes.

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with regulatory authorities.

  • Provide guidance and support to directors and senior management on corporate governance matters.

  • Review draft minutes of meetings and resolutions prepared by co-shareholders.

  • Communicate with external advisors, legal counsel, and auditors on corporate governance and compliance issues.

  • Maintain and update the group corporate database.

  • Stay updated on changes to corporate law, regulations, and governance practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; legal qualification preferred but not required.

  • 5–7 years of experience as a company secretary or corporate legal counsel in-house or in private practice.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, Arabic proficiency is preferred.

  • Expertise in corporate law and familiarity with Middle East corporate and regulatory environment.

  • Ability to handle complex legal matters independently and with discretion.

  • Proactive, results-oriented, adaptable, and culturally aware.

  • Experience collaborating with legal advisors and working in fast-paced environments.
