Job Title: Outside Sales Engineer
Job Description:
We are hiring a dynamic and technically skilled Outside Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting and selling our valve and actuator solutions across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, strong knowledge of industrial valves (including butterfly and ball valves), and a proven record in technical sales.
This role requires someone who can not only sell but also build strong customer relationships, deliver technical presentations, and provide reliable support throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify & Pursue Sales Opportunities:
Strategically develop and execute a sales plan to expand the customer base and increase overall revenue. -
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and nurture lasting relationships with new and existing clients, offering tailored valve solutions to match their operational needs. -
Technical Sales Presentations:
Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations, showcasing the functionality and benefits of various valve types and actuator systems. -
Provide Technical Support:
Assist customers with technical inquiries, product selection, and troubleshooting, ensuring excellent post-sale satisfaction. -
Collaborate Across Departments:
Work in close coordination with internal teams such as marketing, engineering, and inside sales to deliver seamless service and maintain communication flow. -
Market Intelligence:
Keep current with industry trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements to stay ahead in the market. -
Achieve Sales Targets:
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs while expanding company market share.
Qualifications & Skills:

Degree: Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.

Experience: 3–5 years in a technical sales role, preferably in the valves or actuation industry.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of valve types (butterfly, ball, etc.), actuators, and related systems.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities.

Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a knack for offering creative, practical solutions.
