Amazon is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations at the DXB5 Delivery Station. The role involves managing logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates, ensuring operational KPIs are met, and maintaining high safety standards. The Operations Supervisor will also support the Operations Manager, handle workflow monitoring, team coaching, and performance tracking, while implementing process improvements to optimize delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

📦 Operations & Logistics Management

• Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth shipment handling.

• Supervise logistics staff, delivery associates, and coordinators.

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s safety policies.

• Track and report operational performance metrics to the Operations Manager.

• Implement Kaizen (continuous improvement) initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

📊 Team Supervision & Performance Optimization

• Manage shift planning (Receive/Dock/Stow) to ensure seamless operations.

• Coach and train associates to maintain productivity and quality standards.

• Conduct interviews for associate roles and handle performance management.

• Monitor and improve processes related to logistics and warehouse workflows.

🏋 Physical & Flexible Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.

• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

• Ability to handle physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, and bending.

Requirements & Qualifications:

✔ Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
✔ Experience:

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics.

• Experience in planning, performance metrics, and process improvement is preferred.
  ✔ Technical Skills: 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  ✔ Work Authorization: Candidates must be 18 years or older.
