Phoenix Yacht Management, a premier yacht management company based in Dubai—the emerging hub of luxury yachting—is hiring an Operations Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate should come from a Captain or Chief Officer background or have prior experience in yacht management.

This role involves managing multiple yachts, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary point of contact for vessels and the management team. You’ll work closely with specialist managers and report directly to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operational oversight of several vessels in the fleet.

• Monitor budgets, review invoices, and ensure compliance with company management systems.

• Prepare vessel inspection reports and monthly management meeting documentation.

• Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations.

• Oversee setup and implementation of onboard management systems and documentation.

• Provide technical support with help from the Technical Superintendent.

• Manage yacht and crew insurance, including claims handling.

• Supervise ISPS security and ISM safety management systems.

• Monitor and maintain vessel work lists.

• Handle crew management, including interviews and training.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level sea-going experience.

• Preferably from a Captain or Chief Officer background or similar yacht management roles.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to multitask.

• Willingness to travel globally at short notice.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business IT systems.

• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
