Operations Manager – MEP & Fire Fighting

We are hiring a highly skilled Operations Manager with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Fire Fighting systems to oversee project execution, manage on-site operations, and ensure timely, quality delivery within budget. The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple construction projects and liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to deliver world-class engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of MEP and fire protection systems across construction sites.

• Manage operational teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure project deliverables are met.

• Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Ensure compliance with civil defense, NFPA, and local authority regulations.

• Collaborate with design, procurement, and commercial teams to optimize cost and technical performance.

• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Supervise system testing, commissioning, and final handover.

• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MEP specialization preferred)

• 10+ years of experience in MEP and fire fighting operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Proven experience in UAE construction or facilities management sector

• In-depth knowledge of UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes, NFPA, ASHRAE, and local municipality regulations

• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills

• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)

• Valid UAE driving license preferred
