Job Title: Operations Manager 

Job Description:

We are hiring a results-driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Readymix Concrete operations in Dubai. This is a senior-level role, ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of concrete production, logistics, and team leadership. The successful candidate will oversee plant operations, drive efficiency, ensure quality control, and implement strategic initiatives that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end operations of the Readymix Concrete plant, including production, maintenance, logistics, and quality control.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve plant productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize delivery schedules.

• Lead and supervise teams including production workers, drivers, and technical staff to achieve performance targets.

• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing HSE policies and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Coordinate with the sales and customer service departments to meet delivery commitments and align production with demand forecasts.

• Track and analyze operational KPIs, identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost efficiency while meeting operational goals.

• Foster strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and government authorities to support ongoing operations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (advanced qualifications in Operations Management or Supply Chain are an advantage).

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operations Manager in the Readymix Concrete industry.

• Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing large, cross-functional teams.

• In-depth knowledge of concrete production processes, quality standards, logistics, and safety regulations.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage under pressure and drive performance.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, operational software, and data analytics tools.

• Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.

• Awareness of Dubai’s construction market, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
